WYNYARD HAS ANOTHER DEFIBRILLATOR

20221116 151053

A further defibrillator has been installed on the wall of the unmanned gatehouse – on the left hand side as you approach from the A689 / Hanzard Drive / The Wynd roundabout.

Should you need to use it dial 999 for help. As well as guiding you through CPR, the call operator will be able to advise you of the defibrillator’s passcode which will enable you to access the cupboard and take out the defibrillator.  They will ask you to stay with the patient and continue CPR but ask someone around you to find the defibrillator.

WYNYARD’s DEFIBRILLATOR

The defibrillator has been installed on the gable end wall of Therapy Hair & Beauty Salon, 128 – 130 The Stables, Wynyard.  TS22 5QY.  It is available 24 hours a day.

The Parish Council intends to install more defibrillators in the area.  Wynyard Estates has told the Parish Council that a defibrillator may be placed on the east gate security hut and Stockton Borough Council would be able to supply power from a nearby lamppost to a dedicated post and defibrillator (the defibrillator will be supplied by the Parish Council).
